Adam Hillard is a Lead Geometric Designer for CCHD. With over 17 years’ experience in the investigation and design of infrastructure projects; Adam has held engineering design positions within the Roads and Traffic Authority (now RMS) and local governments as well as the private sector.
Throughout Adam’s career he has gained knowledge and experience in many facets of civil design with experience ranging from design of major urban motorways, freeway alignment and interchange design, tunnel and bridge design to local roads, subdivisions and carparks.
Although diverse, the majority of Adam’s career has been within the field of major infrastructure, primarily geometric design of major urban motorway and highways for the NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).
Now a part of CCHD, Adam originally established Hillard Civil in 2008 to provide Design Services and technical assistance to the RMS and consistently demonstrates capability for the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
A specialist in Bentley MX & Microstation. Adam has investing substantial time within MX to streamline the design process. This has proven invaluable when investigating alternate design options and providing increased detail within tight timeframes to make informed decision making.
Extensive knowledge of Austroads, RMS Austroads supplements, RTA Road Design Guide and Australian Standards along with local government design guides.
