TfNSW are proposing the upgrade of Avoca Drive, a critical traffic corridor located on the Central Coast. The upgrade consists of widening between Carrak Road and Killuna Road intersections, aimed to improve safety for all road users and improve traffic flow through the corridor. CCHD was engaged by TfNSW to provide the following services:
- Strategic design options to provide a dual carriageway arrangement for a 3km section of Avoca drive between Algona Avenue and Joalah Road
- Design of intersection upgrades to provide left in/left out, half seagulls and TCS improvements and implementation
- Desktop constraints mapping and preliminary options investigation
- Project estimation
- Business case development and economic appraisal
