TfNSW are currently developing a Bypass of the Muswellbrook township. The Muswellbrook Bypass will be a key piece of infrastructure along the New England Highway in NSW’s Hunter Region and will improve travel times, freight efficiency and safety for all road users. CCHD was initially engaged to develop the strategic business case based on a design developed inhouse by TfNSW.
Following this initial SBC involvment, CCHD were reengaged by TfNSW in a value engineering exercise to investigate alternate route options and interchange arrangements that were cost planned to identify a preferred strategic design to be adopted in the development fo the concept design.
During the concept design phase, CCHD have continued on supporting TfNSW in the cost estimation role.
