Richard is a Principal Road Design Lead, with over 25 years of experience in the design, development and documentation of transport projects through all stages; from feasibility, strategic, concept and detail design.
Richard has expertise in uniting multi-disciplinary projects and has skills in identifying project risks and opportunities with quantifiable results to improve project outcomes, challenging standards whilst understanding safety implications, reducing costs and improving constructability.
Richard was pivotal to the development of many large RMS/TfNSW projects within the hunter region over the past 12 years and was instrumental in large cost savings on these projects with innovative design solutions.
As a lead road designer at CCHD, Richard ‘s key responsibilities are leading option design development for major projects incorporating all disciplines, provide design advice and review and conduct road safety audits.
